Bohannon (seal) Georgia Coweta County By virtue of an agreement entered into between the heirs at law of the Estate of Wm c. Norwood dec'd late of said county, to us entrusted to make a distribution of the estate, the same being a certain plantation in the County of Troup and said State, to wit: Lots [can't read--26?] 61, 62, 63, 64 [6?] and 87 1/2 acres off of Lot No 35 in 11412th district of Troup, after being sworn, we proceeded in the following manner to execute said agreement. The distribution under said agreement was found to be fair [four???] and of course the estate was to be divided into four equal parts as near as possible. We then arranged said land into four equal parts as far as possible and designated them as follows: Lot No. 1, 2, 3, 4. There was no difference in the value of said lots. Having settled the lots' value, and mode of equalizing, the next step to assign to the distributees their lots in a fair manner. To accomplish this, we wrote down on four separate pieces of paper the names of the distributees, and on four other pieces of paper the different names of the Lots 1,2,3,4. These eight pieces of paper were then put into two hats; the pieces with names of distributees in one hat, and the pieces of the numbers of the lots of land in another, and both hats were then well shaken; the distributees were then ordered out of the room, and one of our body designated to make the drawing which was done as follows: a name was drawn from one hat and then a lot from the other, until the several pieces of paper we all drawn. The lots as they were drawn we determined should go to the person whose name was drawn from the hat. Under these arrangements Lot No. 1 fell to Annie N. Bohannon Lot No. 2 " " Allie N. Perryman Lot No. 3 " " Jennie C. Moreland Lot No. 4 " " Sallie N. Wells The boundaries and specifications of which will appear from the plat of A.E.
