This Indenture made this (1st) first day of February one thousand eight Hundred thirty five between George W. Browning of the state of Alabama Chambers County of the one part and Mrs. Mary Leverett of the State of Georgia & County of Troup of the other part Witnesseth that the said George W. Browning hath for and in consideration of the sum of three Hundred and Twelve Dollars & 50 cts to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and do by the presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Mrs. Mary Leveritt his heirs and assigns all that tract of Land situate lying in being in the fifth district of Troup County Georgia. Known and distinguished in the plan of said District by the West half of Lot No. (195) one hundred and Ninty five containing one hundred one and a quarter Acres more or less. To have and to hold said tract or parcel of Land unto her the said Mrs. Mary Leveritt her heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances there of to the same in any manner belonging to her and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. And the said George W. Browning for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Mrs. Mary Leverett her heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claim or claims of all other person or persons whatsoever.
