Georgia  Troup County

     Know all men by these presents that I Charles Bussey of the County of 
Tallapoosa and State of Alabama  for and in consideration of the sum of One 
Hundred and Thirty Six Dollars hath bargained and sold all my title interest 
claim or Legacy in and to a certain Lot of Land  herein after described lying 
in the Fifth District of Troup County known as Lot One Hundred and Fifty One 
(151) containing Two Hundred Two and a half Acres more or less the 
consideration money to me in hand paid the receipt is hereby acknowledged hath 
bargained and sold unto Gideon Leverett his heirs and assigns all my interest 
claim or Legacy in and to the above described Lot of Land which I have as one 
of the legatees of Thomas Leverett late of Troup County deceased and I will 
further forever warrant and defend the right and titles unto Gideon Leverett 
his heirs and assigns from all person or persons claiming or pretending to 
claim as well for myself my heirs and assigns to Gideon Leverett his heirs and 
assigns to have and to hold for their own proper benefit and behoof in fee 
simple.  In witness my hand and seal.  September 16th 1838.

Additional Comments:
Charles Bussey was married to Almeda Leverett, the daughter of
