McLaughlin of the County of Meriwether Not aforesaid of the one part and Daniel Davis & Isaac Fincher of the same State and County of Troup of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Josiah T. McLaughlin for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand and fifty dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and do by these presents grant bargain sell and and(sic) convey unto the said Daniel Davis & Isaac Fincher their heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County and the State aforesaid containing two hundred and two and one half acres (202 1/2) more or less known and distinguished as lot N. two hundred and thirty five (235) in the seventh district of said County. To have and to hold said tract or parcel of land with them the said Daniel Davis & Isaac Fincher their heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appurtances thereof to the same in any manner belonging to them and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. And the said Josiah Tuck McLaughlin for himself his heirs executors and administrators the said bargains promises unto the said Daniel Davis and Isaac Fincher their heirs and assigns, will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claim of all other persons whatever. In witness whereof the said Josiah T. McLaughlin hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above written. Signed sealed and delivered in presence of Josiah T.
