Georgia  Walton County

     Know all men by these presents that I Mariah Walker Daughter of Thomas 
Leverett late of Troup County Deceased and State aforesaid have this day 
bargained and sold unto Gideon Leverett all my share title claim interest or 
legacy into a Lot of Land lying in Troup which I have as one of the Legatees of 
said Deceased known as Lot No. (151) One Hundred fifty One lying in the Fifth 
District of said County containing Two Hundred 2/2 more or less the 
consideration money to me in hand paid is One Hundred and Thirty Six Dollars 
the receipt thereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained and sold unto Gideon 
Leverett his heirs and assigns all my interest claim Legacy in and to said 
described Lot of Land, and I will further forever warrant and defend the right 
title claim or interest to Gideon Leverett his heirs assigns from all and every 
person or persons claiming or pretending to claim as well for myself my heirs 
and assigns to Gideon Leverett his heirs and assigns to their own proper 
benefit and behoof in fee simple.  In witness my hand and seal, August 15th 
1838.
