Thompson of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth that the said John Warren for and in consideration of the sum of Eleven hundred and fifty eight dollars to him in hand paid by the Said Seaborn J. Thompson at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof, is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained Sold aliened and conveyed and by these presents doth grant, Bargain, Sell, alien and convey unto the said J. Thompson his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of Land Situate lying and being in the 6th district of the county first aforesaid it being a part of Lot number one hundred and Sixteen (116) in Said District, Containing one hundred and ninety one acres more or less having such shape routs and boundary as follows, Beginning at the north west corner of Said Last Mentioned Lot and running South 47 chains 60 links, to a red oak post the north west corner of Lot No. 114 in Said district, thence East 47 chains 30 links to a post oak post the South West Corner of lot no. (117) thence north along the line between Lot no.(116) & (117) 21 ch thence North 36 West 21 chs. 50 links to a red oak corner, thence west 6 chs. 16 links to a Stake, Thence North 9 chs 25 links to a Stake corner, Thence west 27 chs 18 links to the Beginning Corner Ecapsing and Rerserving however of the Land contained in Said Ivory Two acres around and about The Tanyard, now in the occupancy of James R. Law and Samuel Reid as sold heretofore to Said James Law by John E. Gage and also one Square acre lying immediately west and adjoining the lot now in the occupancy of James Chauder & contiguous to & lying upon the north line of said lot 116 & 109 in said district as heretofore sold by said Gage to Nicholas W. Prious to have and to hold The Said Bargained premises unto him the said Seaborn J. Thompson his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights, members and appurtenances to the same in any manner belonging to his and their own proper use benefit & behoof forever in fee simple. And the Said John Warren For himself his heirs Executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the Said Seaborn J. Thompson his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend forever the Right and title thereof against themselves and against the claim of all other persons whatsoever.
