The Atlanta Constitution 4 June 1915 
John Burdette, West Point
West Point, Ga., June 4 (Special)  John Burdette, a prominent confederate 
veteran, died Saturday morning at his home in the country near here.  
Interment took place at Pinewood cemetery.  He is survived by two sisters, of 
West Point, and a son living in Florida.
