Mrs. Posey A. Freeman 83 of the Abbottsford community died at 1:10 pm Wednesday 
at Chambers County Hospital in Lafayette Ala after a long illness Funeral was to 
be at 2 pm today at Harmony Methodist Church Mrs. Freeman was born July 2, 1882, 
in Antioch Ga a daughter of the late Archie J. and Lula Fears Whatley pioneer 
residents of the Antioch community She had lived in Troup County all her life 
Survivors include three daughters Mrs. Lovic Swint Columbus and Mrs. Edgar 
Williamson and Mrs. Robert Milner both of LaGrange five sons Render Bernard 
Archie Harold and James Freeman all of LaGrange two brothers Oman Whatley 
Abbottsford and Henry Whatley Glenn 12 grandchildren seven great-grandchildren 
and several nieces and nephews
