Freeman, of West Point, died today at 6:30 am after a short illness of a few weeks. The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Sunday morning. Mrs. Freeman is survived by her husband, Robert C. Freeman, and one daughter, Miss Gabriella Freeman, also by her mother, Mrs. Lafayette Laner; three sisters, Mrs. Bryant Dixon of West Point, Mrs. Deupree Hunnicutt and Mrs. H. H. Hinton of Athens, Ga., and two brothers, Mr. George H. Lanier and Mr. Lafayette Lanier, of West Point. Additional Comments: This is Gillian "Lillian" LaFayette Lanier, the eldest child of Lafayette Lanier (Sr) and Ada Alice Huguley. She was born 18 Nov 1874 at the residence of her Grandfather, Mr. George Huguley, in Chambers Co., Alabama. She married Robert Clark Freeman on 6 October 1904 in Chambers Co., Alabama. They had one child, Gabriella Lanier Freeman, born 7 February 1906, who married Dr. Bomar A. Olds. Gillian and Robert are bured at Pinewood Cemetery in West Point, Troup Co., Georgia.
