DEATH OF T.T. GOODWIN OCCURRED LAST FRIDAY

Last Friday morning Mr. Thomas T. Goodwin died at his home in LaGrange after 
an illness of two weeks, though his condition was not considered alarming 
until a day or so before his death. He was in the prime of life and leaves a 
wife and two little girls.  The deceased was a son of Mrs. Sarah Goodwin and a 
brother to Messrs. Bart, Burrell and Handley Goodwin and Misses Mattie and 
Annie Goodwin.  The funeral and interment was at Mt. Pisgah on Saturday at 
noon, the services being conducted by Rev. Virgil Herndon, pastor of the 
Methodist church at Rock Mills.  The many friends of Mr. Goodwin in this 
vicinity, where the greater part of his life was spent, learn of his death 
with regret, and offer sympathy to the stricken family.
