Died
     At his son's residence in Troup Co Ga, on the 14th February 1860, James 
Loftin, in the 89th year of his age.
     Deceased was a Baptist over 50 years, served as a deacon 30, wound up his 
pecuniary matters, and at peace with all, lived waiting for the hour when he in 
whom he had trusted should call for him.
