DEATH OF MRS. S.W. HARRIS

On last Monday evening after a short illness of but two days, Mrs. Lucy 
Harris, wife of Col. S.W. Harris of this place, departed this life. A 
devoted wife and mother, whose world was her home, her death is a severe 
blow to her loving husband and children, and the heart of the community goes 
out to them in sympathy in their sad bereavement.

The remains of Mrs. Harris were taken to West Point on Tuesday for interment.
