Hester last Monday morning. Mr. A.J. Hester was called from time to eternity, following a stroke of paralysis on Friday night. he had been in failing health for several months. The deceased was 65 years of age. He was a member of the Baptist church. He was the father of eighteen children. His first wife and four children preceded him across the river. Funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Rev. W.P. Cumbee at Hillabahatchee Tuesday afternoon. The Masons were in charge of the burial.
