The LaGrange Reporter
Mr. R. W. Holder
Mr. R. W. Holder who made his home in LaGrange Ga for several years and was 
well known here, died in Manchester on December 26, 1907 after a short illness 
of pneumonia. It will be remembered that his wife died  several months ago 
leaving him with young children, and about that time he again married an 
excellent lady, who thus in weeks is a second time widow. Mr. Holder was 
engaged in road contract work in Manchester for the A.B. & A. RR and 
prospering finely in that until stricken with the fatal disease. The body was 
carried to West Point where it was interred in the family burying plot. To the 
wife who survives him and his orphan children the sympathies is extended.
