November 27 (Special) Mrs. Frank Lanier, widely known West Point woman, died at the home shortly after midnight this morning. She is survived by four sons, Phil, Jim, Will, and Harry Lanier, and three daughters, Mrs. Allen Johnson, of New York city; Mrs. Belle Baker, of West Point, and Mrs. E. C. Branson, of North Carolina. Mrs. Lanier was the widow of the late Frank Lanier, the family being one of the most prominent of this section. Additional Comments: This is Susan Elizabeth Cherry, b. 19 Apr 1846, the daughter of James A. Cherry. She married Elijah Frank Lanier on 29 Nov 1865 in Chambers Co., Alabama.
