Ruby (maiden name Carroll) Wade Lape was born 9-22-1914 and died 6-12-1999 and
is buried in Shadowlawn Cemetery in Troup County, Georgia. Her father Olin Coble
Carroll is buried at Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Twiggs County. Her
mother, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Manning Carroll Teal is also buried at Shadowlawn
Cemetery in Troup County.

 Mrs. Ruby Lape

Mrs. Ruby Lape, 84, of LaGrange died Saturday at West Georgia Medical Ceneter.
Mrs. Lape was born Sept. 22, 1914 in Bibb County, daughter of Olin C. and
Elizabeth Manning Carroll. She had made her home in LaGrange since 1949 and was
a member of the True Gospel Church. She was a retired employee of Milliken & Co.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11AM at the chapel of Striffler-Hamby
Mortuary with the Rev. Eugene Zeigel officiating. Interment will be in
Shadowlawn Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marsh Williams of Loganville and Mrs.
Suellen Shea of LaGrange; one son, Cecil Lape of Loganville; one sister, Mrs.
Frances Yancey of LaGrange; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 7 until
9 o'clock.
