Man Kills Friend; Result of Drink

West Point, Ga., Oct. 5 – Sim E. Smith shot and killed Will Pilkington while 
going home in a buggy late yesterday afternoon.  The two men were good friends, 
but had been drinking.  An open knife was found in the buggy and Smith was cut 
in several places.

Pilkington was married and leaves a wife and two children.
