                              LeRoy Tyson
 LeRoy Tyson, 45, of 730 North Greenwood Street died Tuesday at City-County 
Hospital following several months of declining health.
 Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11am at Unity United Methodist 
Church with the Rev. Floyd Tenney officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest 
Cemetery in Vidalia at 4pm.
 A native of Emanuel County, Mr. Tyson had lived here for the past 18 years 
and was employed as an industrial engineer for International Playtex 
Corporation. He was a member of Unity United Methodist Church, Elm City Lodge 
544, LaGrange Moose Club, and was a member and past president of the LaGrange 
Civitan Club.
 Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Juanita Blaxton Tyson; two sons, Roy Michael 
Tyson and Alex Andrew Tyson, all of LaGrange; his father, Hardy Tyson of 
Higgston; his foster mother, Mrs. Leona Tyson Anderson of Reidsville; one 
brother, John Jackson Tyson of Baxley; three half-brothers, Ralph Tyson of 
Waycross and Charles Tyson and Gwendle Tyson, both of Jacksonville, Fla.
 The body will be at Boykin and Fling Funeral Home until Thursday morning and 
will lie in state at the church from 10am until the funeral hour.

LeRoy was born 3 Jun 1929 to Hardy Tyson and Naomie Mixon Tyson. Georgia death 
certificate #014596.
