H. A. King, Rev. H. G. Bradshaw and Rev. John Faulkner officiating. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery with Johnson Blakely in charge. Mrs. Williams had reached 62 years of age and was well-known in this section. She was born in Troup County and had lived at Abbotsford all her life. The last week of her illness became serious, and she died at 1:10 a. Tuesday, August 6. She is survived by her husband, W. J. Williams, Abbottsford; one son, Earl, of West Point; two sisters, Miss Vera Smith, Roanoke, Route 2, and Mrs. Steve Allen, LaGrange; three brothers, Amos Smith, and Ernest Smith of Roanoke, Route 2, and Seaborn Smith of LaGrange.
