From West Point

After an illness of a few weeks, Mary Woodyard,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Woodyard breathed her
last at the home of her parents Thursday afternoon,
September 26. Mary was eight years of age and was a
child of remarkably sweet and attractive disposition.
She was quite a favorite of the family and within the
circle of her little friends. As a pupil in the
Public School and in the Methodist Sunday School she
was a little model, doing her work well and
faithfully and conducting herself with radiant grace.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. T. C. Betterton,
were held at the home Friday morning and interment
was at Pinewood cemetery.
