Shelman - Dallas

Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, in the Methodist church at LaGrange, Mr. 
Pleasant S. Shelman, of Marietta, was married to Miss Leila Dallas, of 
LaGrange, by Rev. Mr. Hardin of the same city.  The attendants were Miss V. B. 
Frost, of LaGrange, and Miss Huguley, of West Point, Mr. E. R. Glover, of 
Marietta, and Miss Lula Zachery, of West Point; Mr. C. T. Shelman, of Bartow 
county, and Miss Ella Palmer, of LaGrange; Mr. Earnest Carey, of LaGrange, and 
Miss Ada Awtrey, of LaGrange.  The bride was a picture of loveliness, and the 
affair passed off most charmingly.  Mr. Shelman and wife spent yesterday 
morning in Atlanta at the Markham house and were there congratulated by many of 
their Atlanta friends.  They left on the 8 o'clocl train for the home of Mr. 
Shelman's parents, in Bartow county, where a reception will be given in their 
honor to-night.  Several friends from Atlanta accompanied them.
