The Pike County Journal. Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, November 5, 1897

On the 24th of this month, Mr. Jonah Hartley of this place will be united in 
marriage to Miss Allie Briley of West Point. These young people are well known 
and are quite popular. The Journal offers its congratulations in advance.

Hartley - Briley

The marriage of Mr. Jonah Hartley of this place to Miss Allie Briley was 
consummated at the home of the bride’s parents in West Point Wednesday. The 
ceremony was performed by Judge W.M. Hartley, the father of the groom. The 
happy couple left for Zebulon, their future home, yesterday and will arrive 
here today. Upon their arrival here, a reception will be given them at the home 
of Judge W.M. Hartley’s.
