Hymeneal

Married at the residence of the bride's mother -- the late Mrs. Sarah T. Sloan
-- on Sunday morning, the 11th inst by Rev. F.M.T. Brannon, Mr. W.F. Fannin and
Miss Mary A. Sloan, all of Troup county.
From the altar where they pledged their troth, the happy couple rode to Midway
Church, where they attended divine service; thence to the residence of the
bride's brother - Mr. J.L. Sloan, where a beautiful dinner was served in their
honor. May they never feel the blight of sorrow and may life's waters be always
smooth to their sailing.
