NEIGHBORHOOD News

The LaGrange Reporter of the 13th inst. contains the following notice of a 
remarkable marriage in that place: Yesterday morning at 11 o'clock were 
married in this city by Judge Beall of the county court, Mr. P. Prophitt to 
Miss Annie B. Swain. This marriage has a tinge of the romantic to those that 
know the parties. Mr. Prophitt has been afflicted for several years with 
paralysis, not being able to assist himself in the least. But love laughs at 
difficulties and Miss Swain seeks pleasure in becoming the wife of the one 
whom she loves, and no doubt their married life will prove full of pleasure 
and happiness.
