Submitted by Barbara Walker Winge Elizabeth Caldwell State of Georgia Troup County In the name of God Amen I Elizabeth Caldwell of the County and State aforesaid being feeble and deseased in body but of Sound mind and memory and Knowing it is appointed once and for all mankind to die do make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament Item 1st I give and bequeath to my Son Mathew Caldwell the Sum of ten Dollars Item 2nd I give and bequeath to my Son Creed Caldwell the Sum of ten Dollars Item 3rd I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Pitts formerly Sarah Caldwell the Sum of ten Dollars Item 4th I give and bequeath to my four grandchildren viz; David A King John E W King Henry Revell William Revell the lawful issue of my daughter Nancy Revell formerly Nancy Caldwell the Sum of five Dollars each Item 5th I give and bequeath to my daughter Martha Parker formerly Martha Caldwell the Sum of ten Dollars Item 6th I give and bequeath to my Son David A Caldwell the Sum of ten Dollars Item 7th I give and bequeath to my Son John F Caldwell with whom I am now living and who has supported me for a number of years and defrayed all my expenses for a number of years all the remainder and residue of my property consisting of one negro woman by the name of Vina and her children (to wit) Shadrack Benjamin and Aaron and all my household and Kitchen furniture my Stock of cattle and whatever other property I have in my own right or be entitled to at my death he the named John F Caldwell to pay out of the Same all my Just debts burial expenses and lastly I nominate and appoint my Son John F Caldwell my Executor to this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made In testamony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my Seal this the eight day of January in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and fifty eight Elizabeth (X her mark) Caldwell (L.S.)
