Day Service At Bethel Baptist

Funeral Services for Clifford Day, age 80 of Ashburn ware held Sunday, 
Jan.29,2006, at 2:30 P.M. at Bethel Baptist Church. Burial followed in Live Oak 
Cemetery with the Revs Donnie Duncan and Ken Kicklighter. Mr. Day died Firday 
at his residence following a sudden illness.

Serving as pallbearers were Shelby Day, George Day, Jerry Day, David Alberson, 
Clay Alberson,& George Reinhardt. The organ was played by Carolyn Troop and 
quartet sang "Amazing Grace".

Mr. Day was born in Irwin County, Ga. and was the son of the late Robert Newton 
& Samantha McElroy Day. He was a retired truck driver and had lived in Turner 
Couny for 30 years. He served in the US Navy durring WW 11. He was avid deer 
and bird hunter and loved working his cattle.

Survivors include his wife Betty "Cooter" Alberson Day of Ashburn, 1 son Tommy 
Day of Ashburn, 1 daughter, Sherry Day of Jacksonville Florida, a brother J.R. 
Day of Irwinville, Ga., a sister Christine Clements of Rutherford, N.C., 6 
Grandchildren & 2 great granchildren.

The family recieved friends friday from 6 - 8 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel.
