So we are missing the Minutes from 1809 to 1833. Doc Arnold who was the Clerk of the Church in the 1970's. Cool Spring Baptist Church as it states was Constituted. 11 June 1809 in Wilkinson., County., Georgia. Church Covenant -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church was constituted June 11, 1809 at Allentown in Wilkinson County and later moved to its present site. These members sigtned the Articles of Faith. Moses Tyson, David Holmes, Samuel Pouncy, Sion Davis, John Davis, Sion Davis Junior, Stephen Bryan, Stephen Bryan, Silvey Tyson, Abigail Holmes, Melemkia Hathhorn, Sarah Armstrong, Sarah Pouncy and Sister Davis." Jesse Pearce and John Albritton were the Elders who signed the constitution.
