Land lot 97 District 28
Written: February 24, 1858

Georgia, Twiggs County
This Indenture made this the twenty fourth day of Febuary hundred and fifty 
Eight between Andrew J. Ard of the one part and Daniel Ard of the other part 
both of the County and state Aforesaid Witnesseth that for and in the 
Consideration of the Sum of two hundred Dollars in hand paid the receipt is 
hereby acknowledged by the said A.J. Ard hath bargained sold and Conveayed to 
said Daniel Ard all that land or parcel of land situated and lying and being in 
the 28th dist formyly Wilkinson now Twiggs County Containing one hundred Acres 
more or less and known by the North East half of lot No 97 being on the old 
Bawldin line and runing through the lane between J.G Andrews and Ard and 
through the line thence to the boldin line with all the appetences and I A.J. 
Ard do warent and forever defend the said land from my self my heirs and 
assigns to him the said Daniel Ard his heirs to have and to hold forever in fee 
simple in testimony I have set my hand and Seal in the presence of the date

Additional Comments:
This is a copy of the original deed which was written on a different type of 
paper than the deed from Pearson to Ard in 1848. This is the same tract of 
land. The spelling is the same as on the deed. Neither the 1848 deed nor this 
deed have any reference to being recorded.
