This company was organized September 25, 1861, and was ordered to Savannah, Georgia, where it was mustered into C.S. service for twelve months by Colonel William S. Rockwell, October 12, 1861, and ordered to report to Colonel C. W. Styles at St. Simons Island, Georgia, where it arrived October 15, 1861. It was engaged in all the marches and battles of the Army of Northern Virginia from July 1862, including the "Valley Campaign" of 1864. Adkins, F. H. -- Private - May 8, 1862.
