	Death of Mrs. Jim Slaughter. 

  The many friends of Mrs. Jim 
Slaughter will be grieved to learn of 
her death after a long illness. She 
died Friday night about 10 o'clock, 
having suffered several years from 
tumors and having undergone two 
operations for relief. 
  Mrs. Slaughter was before her 
marriage, Miss Slappy, of Twiggs 
County, where she has many relatives 
and friends who mourn her death.
