Joseph C. "Joe" Arnold was born 7-28-1887 and died 11-29-1967 (Ga. DC#034335)
and is buried at Mt. Zion.

Joseph C. Arnold

DANVILLE---Funeral services for Joseph C. Arnold, 80, who died Wednesday, will
be held at 2PM Friday in Mt. Zion Baptist Church near Danville.
The Rev. Lamar Williams and the Rev. Paul Jones will officiate and burial will
be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Arnold, a lifelong resident of Twiggs County, was a deacon of the Mt. Zion
Baptist Church for 53 years. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. J. C. Arnold of Danville; three sons, Albert H.
Arnold of Macon, Hubert Arnold of Jeffersonville, and William Arnold of Stone
Mountain; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Griggers of Macon; 10 grandchildren and 4
great-grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at the family residence until 1PM Friday before being
placed in the church. Townsend Funeral Home is in charge.
