Minnie (Maiden name Chance) Arnold was born 5-11-1894 and died 1-5-1986 (Ga. DC#
000709) and is buried at Mount Zion.

            Mrs. Arnold

Services for Minnie Chance Arnold, 91, of Route 1, Danville, will be held
Tuesday at 4:30PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The Rev. Paul Jones, the Rev.
Lamar Williams and the Rev. Jeff Slaughter will officiate. Burial will follow in
the church cemetery.
Mrs. Arnold was the daughter of the late John Henry Chance and the late Margie
Reynolds Chance of Twiggs County, and the widow of Joe Arnold. She was a
lifelong resident of Twiggs County and the oldest member of the Mount Zion
Baptist Church. She died Sunday in a Dublin hospital.
Survivors include three sons, Albert Arnold of Macon, W. H. "Bill" Arnold of
Stone Mountain, and Hubert Arnold of Jeffersonville; one daughter, Mrs. Harold
(Ruby) Griggers of Fort Valley; one sister, Eugenia Fowler of Danville; 9
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The body will be placed
in state at Townsend Funeral Home until 3:30PM Tuesday, when it will be moved to
the church.
The family will be at the Arnold home on the Fowler Road, Route 1, Damville.
