Harry B. Basner was born 8-28-1905 and died 11-4-1986.

Harry B. Basner
Harry B. Basner of 3979 Fairmont Ave, a retired Atlantic Cotton Mills slubber
operator, died Tuesday at his residence after an extended illness. He was 81.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30pm today in Lucy Chapel Methodist Church
Cemetery in Twiggs County. The Rev. James Richland will officiate.

A Walton county native, Mr. Basner lived in Macon since 1947, moving from
Cochran. He attended Lucy Chapel Methodist Church in Twiggs County.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Basner of Macon; four daughters, Virgie
Malik and Nell Blackshear, both of Macon, Hazel Ikner of Dublin and Mornia
Nicholas of Fort Washington, MD; 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and
three great-great-grandchildren. Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
