Beatrice ( maiden name Howell) Basner was born 5-18-1904 and died 12-7-1989

Beatrice Howell Basner

Beatrice Howell Basner, 85 of 3979 Fairmont Ave died Thursday in a local
hospital after an extended illness.

Services will be held at 2pm Sunday in Lucy Chapel Methodist Cemetery in Twiggs
Conty. The Rev. James Richland will officiate.

A native of Bleckely County, Mrs. Basner, was a homemaker and a member of Lucy
Chapel Methodist Church.

Survivors include four daughters Virgie Malike and Nell Blackshear, both of
Macon; Hazel Ikner of Dublin and Mornia Nichols of Fort Washngton, MD; two
brothers, Jimmy Howell of Cochran and Henry Howell of Macon; three sisters,
Thelma Lee Mixon of Macon, Virginia Wilson of Rome and Corine Rieter of
Washington state; 12 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and seven
great-great-grandchildren.
The family may be contacted at the Blackshear residence, 3969 Fairmont Ave. 
Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
