Chapman said the autopsy performed on the body of a Macon cab driver yesterday revealed the man died of natural causes. Marshall Blackshear, 523 Broadway, a Yellow Cab driver, was taken to the Macon Hospital Thursday to be treated for what appeared to be a heat stroke. After his death, his mother, Mrs. Olive Mae Blackshear, requested an autopsy. Mr. Blackshear was born in Twiggs County, the son of Mose Blackshear and Mrs. Ollie Birdsong Blackshear, and had made his home in and near Macon all of his life. He was a member of New Haven Baptist church. Surviving are two daughters, Jean and Linda Blackshear, Macon; his mother, Mrs. Ollie Blackshear, Macon; two brothers, Roger Blackshear and William G. Blackshear; and a sister, Mrs. Lillian Martin, all of Macon. Funeral services will be held at the New Haven Baptist Church at 3pm Sunday. The Rev. W. J. Self will officiate and burial will be in the New Haven cemetery. The body will lie in state in the church from 2:30pm to 3pm. Hart's Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.
