                          Sara Alma Blount
 Sara Alma Newby Blount, 91, of 2116 Jeffersonville Road died Monday in a 
local hospital after a brief illness.
 Services will be held at 4pm Thursday in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary. 
Burial will be in Prospect Methodist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County. The 
Rev. Wesley Jones will officiate.
 A native of Twiggs County, Mrs. Blount lived in Macon for 58 years. She was a 
homemaker and a member of Prospect Methodist Church.
 Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Lovvorn of Macon; a son, David McLaughlin 
of Macon; two sisters, Aileen Hodges of Rutledge, Tenn. and Margaret Faulk of 
Jeffersonville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
 The family may be contacted at the residence.
 The family will greet friends from 7 to 9 tonight in Hart's Mortuary.

Sara was born 8-22-1896 to Jessie Ivey "Jess" Newby and Dora "Dode" Estella 
Lee Newby. Georgia death certificate #012044. Her husband was George W. Blount.
