(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net July 11, 2013, 5:19 pm The Griffin Daily News 6-9-1966 Page 3 Mr. Bozeman Dies Wednesday Mr. Charlie Lee Bozeman of 411 North Sixth Street, was taken ill at 10:30pm Wednesday night at his residence and was pronounced dead on arrival at the Griffin-Spalding County Hospital. He apparently suffered a heart seizure. Mr. Bozeman was employed by the Griffin Division of Thomaston Mills until his retirement. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Grace Williams Bozeman; two daughters, Mrs. F. J. Kimbell and Mrs. Raymond T. Ray, both of Griffin; a son, Sgt. Jimmy Bozeman of Ft. Bragg, NC; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Nelda Smith, Mrs. Betty Martin, both of Griffin and Mrs. Marion Coffee of Gainesville; two brothers, Cecil Bozeman and W. C. Bozeman, both of Griffin; four sisters, Mrs. Dewey Green, Mrs. Julia Hinson, both of Griffin, Mrs. Pauline Jones of Cochran, Ga. and Mrs. Roosevelt Cole of Macon; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Bozeman will be conducted Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from Haisten's chapel with the Rev. S. J. Wheeler and the Rev. Allen Huckaby officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Bozeman's body will remain at Haisten Funeral Home. Additional Comments: He was born 30 Jul 1901 to Charles Hook Bozeman and Heneritta Howell Bozeman.
