                                                   S. L. Bozeman

 Shield L. Bozeman died in the Verterans hospital at Dublin on Dec. 14 after a 
brief illness. He had been in declining health since his service in World War I.

 He was born in Twiggs County, the son of  Cross and Jane H. Bozeman.

 Funeral and burial services were conducted at Lucy Chapel on the following 
Thursday. Rev. H. G. McCrary officiating.

 Surviving are his wife; two sons, S. L. and J. S. Bozeman; six daughters, Mrs. 
H. L. Dennard, Mrs. J. B. Gibbs, Mrs. Billie Hamrick, Mrs. R. A. Newton, Misses 
Carolyn and Dorothy Bozeman; two brothers, Cross and B. T. Bozeman; two 
sisters, Mrs. W. B. Williams and Mrs. Clarence Burns.

Additional Comments:
Shield was born 25 Jan 1894 to James Crosslin "Cross" Bozeman Sr. and Martha 
Jane Howell Bozeman, both buried at Lucy Chapel. He was married to Laura E. 
Hardie Bozeman who is also buried at Lucy Chapel. Georgia death certificate 
#27539.
