Dudley Carter was born Mar 1899 and died 11-2-1953 (Ga. DC# 24721) and is buried
at Mt. Zion.

Dudley Carter

DUBLIN---Funeral services were held at 3:30PM today for Dudley Carter, 54, of
Danville, who died Monday at a Macon hospital.Mr. Carter was born and reared in
Twiggs and owned a farm here. He was a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alice Fowler Cater; a son, Willis Carter of
Danville; one daughter, Mrs. LaVerne C. Brewer of Danville; five brothers, P. C.
of Macon, Z. C. of Macon, W. M. of Dublin, Colothree of Jeffersonville, and
Eglitus of Philadelphia, Pa.; and one sister, Mrs. Charles Rohr of Macon.
Funeral services were conducted in Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. J. E.
Townsend officiating.
