Cora Lee (maiden name Edge) Carter was born 10-7-1900 and died 10-23-1950 and is
buried at Mount Zion (Ga. DC# 22861)

Mrs. Cartied Died This A.M.

Mrs. W.M. Carter, 50 of 501 W. Moore St, died this morning, October 23, at her
residence after several years illness. She was the former Miss Cora Lee Edge,
and leaves many friends and relatives in Dublin, Laurens, and Twiggs Counties.

Survivors include her husband; one son, W.M. Carter, Jr. of Dublin; three
daughters, Mrs. Harold Hastey, Savannah, Mrs. Edison Dominy, Dublin, and Joyce
Maytre Carter, Dublin; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Howell of Danville; Mrs. Mattie
Montgomery of Lakeland, Fl; five brothers, Johnny Edge, Chester Walter  Edge,
Melbourne, Fla; General Edge, Cochran, Jessie Edge, Orland Fla and Willie Edge
of McRae; three grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday Oct 24 at Mt. Zion Baptist
Church with Rev. J.E. Townsend and Elder Doc Little officiating and Townsend
Brothers Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
