Alice "Allie" (maiden name Fowler) Carter was born 4-10-1902 and died 1-4-1976
(GA DC# 000192) and is buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Twiggs County. Her
husband, Dudley Carter, as well as her mother, Sallie Lou Stevens Fowler, are
also buried there. Her father, William Henry Fowler Jr. is buried in the Fowler
Cemetery in Twiggs County.

 Mrs. Alice Carter

DANVILLE---Mrs. Alice Carter, 73, of Rte. 1, Danville, died Sunday in a Dublin
hospital. Services will be held at 2PM Tuesday in Mt. Zion Baptist Church near
Danville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Twiggs County, Mrs. Carter was a member of Mt. Zion
Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Joiner of Danville and a son,
Willis Carter of Macon.
Townsend Bros. Funeral Home of Dublin has charge of arrangements.
