Sara (Maiden name Harvey) Chance was born 8-2-1928 and died 1-1-2004 and is
buried at Mount Zion.

 Sara Harvey Chance

-DANVILLE - Sara Harvey Chance, 75, passed away January 1, 2004. Funeral
services will be held at 3P.M., Sunday, January 4, in the Chapel of Reece
Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev.
Billy Wicker and Elder Franklin Bryant will officiate. -Mrs. Chance was born in
Laurens County to the late Dud and Ella Harvey. She was a member of Allentown
United Methodist Church, where she was also a member of the United Methodist
Women. Mrs. Chance was the widow of the late Henry J. Chance, Jr. -She is
survived by two sons, Randall L. Chance (Frances) and Douglas Chance (Valorie)
both of Danville; one brother, Hulin Harvey of Macon; two sisters, Opal Woodard
and Ruby Hartwell both of Dublin; four grandchildren, Henry Chance and Beth
Chance, Sara Ann Chance, and Julian Chance; one great-granddaughter, Madelyn
Chance; two sisters-in-law, Opal and Molly Chance both of Danville. -The family
will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M., Saturday at Reece Funeral Home
and may be contacted at the residence of Douglas Chance, Hwy 80 E, Danville, GA
31017. -In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cool Spring Masonic Lodge
#185F. & A.M., P.O. Box 292 Danville, GA 31017. -Reece Funeral Home in
Jeffersonville has charge of arrangements.
