Allen Burton Chance was born 5-21-1935 and died 11-4-2001 and is buried at
Prospect Cemetery. His father, Henry Burton Chance is buried at Mt. Zion and his
mother, Maroy Grimsley Chance is buried at Prospect cemetery.

 Allen Burton Chance 

-DANVILLE - Allen Burton Chance, 66, of Canton Road, died Sunday at his
residence. Services will be held at 3P.M. Tuesday, November 6, in Prospect
United Methodist Church in Twiggs County. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Rev. Joe Bateman will officiate. -Mr. Change was a lifelong resident of Twiggs
County and was the son of the late Burton and Maroy Grimsley Chance. Mr. Change
was a retired office manager for Morseman & Brooks in Dublin and was an
associate with Berden Oil Company. He was a member of Prospect United Methodist
Church. -Survivors include his wife, Shirley F. Chance of Danville; son, Keith
Chance of Danville; son and daughter-in-law, Kim and Diane Chance of Dublin;
daughter and son-in-law, Kerri and Ed Evans of Danville; nine grandchildren and
four great grandchildren. -Donations may be made to the Methodist Childrens
Home, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, GA 31204. Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville
has charge of arrangements
