-COCHRAN - Funeral services for Mr. John C. Chance, 67, of Cochran who died
Thursday, April 12, 2007, will be held at 3P.M. Sunday, April 15, 2007 in the
Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home with Rev. Todd officiating. Burial will be in
Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens. -Mr. Chance was a lifelong resident of
Bleckley County, the son of the late John Will and Annie Pearl Darsey Chance. He
was retired civil service from Robins A.F.B. and retired from the Georgia
National Guard. He was a manager with Flash Foods and member of Mt. Calvary
Baptist Church. -Survivors include a daughter, Robin (James Ray) Hall of
Hawkinsville; son, John Tim Chance; mother of his children, Shirley Chance of
Cochran; brothers, Albert NeSmith of Cochran and W.J. Chance of Pennsylvania;
sisters, Johnnie Darsey of Cochran and Margie Davis of Tifton; grandchild,
Brandy Foskey of Cochran; three great grandchildren. -The family may be
contacted at the residence of Mrs. Shirley Chance, 130 Jim Wimberly Road and
will meet friends at Fisher Funeral Home from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Saturday night.
-Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
