Joe Hill Chance was born 3-3-1934 and died 1-22-2002 and is buried at Mt. Zion.
His parents, Rufus Clifford Chance and Myrtle Hill Chance are also buried there.

 Joe Hill Chance

-JEFFERSONVILLE - Joe Hill Chance, 67, of Rt. One Hamlin - Floyd Rd., died
Tuesday at his residence. -Services will be held at 3P.M. Friday, January 25,
2002, in Mount Zion Baptist Church near Danville. Burial will be in the church
cemetery. Rev. Scott Morris and Elder Franklin Bryant will officiate. -Mr.
Chance, a life long resident of Twiggs County, was the son of the late Rufus
Clifford and Myrtle Hill Chance. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base and
was a retired Truck Driver for Mid Georgia Propane Company, and was a Farmer. He
was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. -Survivors include his wife, Betty W.
Chance of Jeffersonville; one daughter, Vickie C. Nobles of Danville and one
son, Ricky Chance of Jeffersonville; one sister, Grace C. Reece of
Jeffersonville and one brother, John E. Chance, Sr. of Danville; five
grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
granddaughter, Ashlee Brooke Nobles. -The family will receive friends from 7:00
until 9:00P.M. Thursday in the funeral home. -Reece Funeral Home in
Jeffersonville has charge of arrangements.
