Myrtle Hill Chance

JEFFERSONVILLE---Myrtle Hill Chance, 88, of Route 1, died Tuesday in a local
hospital. A lifelong resident of Twiggs County, she was the daughter of the late
Ed and Carrie Hill. She was a homemaker and the widow of Rufus C. Chance. She
was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors:children, Grace C. Reece and
Joe Hill Chance, both of Jeffersonville, and Johnny Chance of Danville; 9
grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services: 3PM today in Mount Zion
Baptist Church, near Danville. Burial: in the church cemetery. The Rev. Jerry
Slaughter will officiate. Visitation: The family may be contacted at the
residence, Route 1, Jeffersonville. Allgood Memorial Chapel in Jeffersonville
has charge of arrangements.
