                       S. V. Chance Jr.
 DANVILLE--- S. V. "Junior" Chance Jr., 63, died Saturday in a local hospital. 
A lifelong resident of Twiggs County, he was the son of the late Silas and 
Ruby Howell Chance. He was the owner of Chance Trucking Co. and was a member 
of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors: wife, Samdra J. Chance of Danville; 
children, Dennis Chance of Macon and Debbie Wood of Warner Robins; sisters, 
Melba C. Sauls of Danville and Zilphialu C. Williams of Macon; four 
grandchildren and a great grandchild.
 Services: 1pm Monday in Mount Zion Baptist Church. Burial: the church 
cemetery. Elder Franklin Bryant, the Rev. Jimmy Blanton and C. W. Mullis will 
officiate. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight 
in Allgood Memorial Chapel, Jeffersonville and may be contacted at the 
residence.
