                Funeral services For Miss Mary Davis held Today
 Funeral services were held today at the Dudley Methodist Church for Miss Mary 
Davis, 77, of Dudley, who died at her residence after a short illness.
 The Rev. W. B. Milton, Rev. Jesse Richardson, and Rev. Ted Bass officiated 
and burial was in the Dudley Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jimmy Davis, Calvin 
Davis, John Fowler, Roy James Chappell, Fred Reinhardt, and Lewis Johnson.
 Miss Davis was born and reared in Twiggs County for 60 years. She was the 
daughter of the late Henry Davis and Betty Chance Davis and had made her home 
with her niece, Mrs. Thomas Brown for 23 years. She was a member of the Dudley 
Methodist Church.
 Among the survivors are two nieces, Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Minnie Lou Davis, 
both of Dudley.
 Adams Funeral Home was in charge.
