Mrs. Jennie Day Taken By Death

Mrs. Jennie Day, 87 of 3841 Jeffersonville Road, died in a local hospital at 1 
p.m. yesterday, after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the New Haven Baptist 
Church, where the body will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.  The 
Rev. A.C. McLendon will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Day, the widow of William F. Day, was born in Twiggs County, the daughter 
of George Martin and Mrs. Betty Clance Martin and had lived here most of her 
life.

Suviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lucia Leslie, Macon and Mrs. Emma Cranford, 
Pineview; several nieces and nephews, among them are Mrs. J.T. Blackshear, 
Macon.

Harts Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
