       Funeral Is Set Today For Mrs. Mattie Dix

 Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Arnold Dix, who died at a local hospital 
Sunday, will be held in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at 3pm today. The Rev. 
James W. Waters will officiate and burial will be in Fort Hill Cemetery.

 Pallbearers will be Floyd Meadows, Henry Smith, Cliff McIvey, H. C. Cross, R. 
A. Gray, and Bartow Johns.

 Mrs. Dix was born in Twiggs County, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Dock Arnold. She 
was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church.

 Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. J. W. Ward; a son, Tony R. Dix; one sister, 
Mrs. John Heath, all of Macon; and 12 grandchildren.
